Love this post. The timidity and fearfulness of so many churches and so many Christians makes me suspect they secretly sympathize with the evil they shrink from confronting. Love what you say about the church being the conscience of the nation!

Serious question brother - does this apply to Melissa Hortman, a former Democratic speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives, the liberal lawmaker who was assassinated in June 2025?
Why wouldn’t it? And who says people in that region didn’t? Did you? I have not been shy about making references to such evil from my pulpit. Don’t forget that she and the Dem senator were the two Dems who didn’t vote with the rest of their party on a specific partisan bill, and then they were murdered. Does that sound like a motivation for murder by a true conservative? Not in your wildest imagination.
